Friday wrap-up: Compost, green deals, reusing neckties

June 6, 2008 by cheaplikeme

Money and Values wrote about cheap deals on green or socially responsible products this week. She’s got a long list to check out.

Simply Thrifty blogged 30 Things You Can Compost. If you guys head over, you probably have more to add to her list.

And if you have a stack or sack of old neckties lying around, and you don’t know how to recycle them, I have just the ticket: Wise Bread posted a column with many ideas (including necktie thongs … ewwwww … or maybe that’s just me. Nah, it’s not).
